LANCASTER CO. DEMS' ANNUAL CORN ROAST JULY 26

LANCASTER, PA-Food, music, and politics make an unbeatable combination at the Annual Corn Roast, which traditionally marks the beginning of the Lancaster County Democratic Committee's fall campaign season. This year's picnic will be held on Saturday, July 26, at Longs Park, Pavilion #2, starting at 4 pm. Democrats and their guests are asked to bring a salad or side dish.

Live music will be provided by Jim Folker and Tim Truman, who delighted the First Friday crowd at the LCDC headquarters' Underground in March with their toe-tapping blend of acoustic rock, country and blues. Some candidates are sure to drop in to share their visions for local and statewide agendas.

Advance tickets are $15 per person for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Admission at the door is $17 for adults and $6 for children 12 & under.
