ATTORNEY GENERAL CANDIDATE MORGANELLI TO VISIT LANCASTER COUNTY CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS JULY 16

Voters invited for Coffee with the Candidates

LANCASTER, PA—Endorsed Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania Attorney General, John Morganelli, is heading to Lancaster next Wednesday, July 16, for coffee and conversation with local candidates and voters. He will stop in at the Democratic Campaign Headquarters at 151 N. Queen Street (ground level, below the Brunswick Hotel) from 10:15 - 10:45 am.

As District Attorney of Northampton County, PA, Morganelli has taken tough public stands on crime and immigration enforcement, going so far as to file suit against the Governor to enforce the state’s death penalty against those convicted of first degree murder. His crime-fighting experience has made him a valuable advisor to the Governor and earned him considerable national attention. He has appeared on several news and talk shows, from “60 Minutes” to “The O’Reilly Factor.”

Morganelli was elected District Attorney in 1991 at the age of 35 and has been re-elected unopposed for 4 successive four-year terms. His service as Special Deputy Attorney General has prepared him to take the logical next step to the Attorney General position.

The Lancaster Democratric Committee's campaign office houses the campaigns of 16th Congressional District candidate Bruce Slater, State Senate candidate to represent the 13th district José Urdaneta, and State House incumbent Mike Sturla, representing the 96th legislative district that encompasses all of Lancaster City and portions Lancaster and Manheim Townships.

The public is welcome to take this opportunity to meet District Attorney Morganelli and our local candidates. While there, voters can sign up to volunteer for the campaigns, and pick up campaign bumper stickers, buttons, and literature. Voter registration forms in English and Spanish will also be available.

The campaign headquarters are open regularly from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm weekdays, 10 am – 2 pm Saturdays, and 11 am – 4 pm Sundays.
